In this brew we see the addition of twenty kilos of burnt caramel from our kitchen, it’s a complex and rich brew made to age and cellar or enjoy now. It’s dark amber in colour with ruby highlights. The aroma’s are rich with layers of toffee, caramel, peach and candy notes. The addition of burnt caramel provides multilayers of dark to soft caramel and toffee flavours, it’s smooth to finish and best enjoyed slowly and savoured.

Brandy Barrel-Aged Belgian Strong Ale
Our single batch Belgian Strong Ale has been aged in a Brandy barrel from our good friend’s down the road at Blind Corner Wines. Back in January they gifted us a barrel that had just been emptied of Brandy that had been aging in the barrel for two years. Prior to that it housed Chardonnay for one year. Our Brandy Barrel-aged Belgian Strong Ale is deep amber to coppery tones in colour, with complex rich and strong malty aromatics alongside notes of white peach and fig.
