48 Hour Cabin Fever Weekender in Dunsborough

BACK TO FUN STUFF

Break up with your doona and head down to Dunsborough for some good booze and good food shenanigans courtesy of Cabin Fever Festival. Don’t know where to start? Our Marketing Manager, Bronte, has planned the ultimate 48 hour winter weekender for you below.

Friday July 19th:

After I’ve had my Friday arvo staffie at Eagle Bay (currently sipping on Oaked Vienna Lager), you’ll find me at Bungalow Social for Wine’s A Drag, watching Drag Queen Donna Kebab slay the house down whilst a panel of winemakers take us through a guided tasting. If live music is more your jam, South Summit and Death by Denim are putting on a raucous performance at Shelter until later into the evening.

Saturday July 20th:

I’m starting with an early morning coffee (or late morning – depending on the head) at Yalls General Store and a croissant from Gugelhopf. If the weather holds out, it’s a great opportunity for a brisk winter walk around Yallingup’s Ghost Trail (deets on that can be found here), otherwise pop into the heart of Dunsborough for a quick infrared sauna at Tama, to sweat out last nights boozy antics.

My top recommendation for the arvo would be to head up to Busselton Pavillion for lunch – the prawn toast is a must try. Then pop next door to their South West Wine Store for their Clay and Chardonnay event. Sip on Chardy whilst learning how to build your own ceramic piece by hand.

This absolutely stellar afternoon is just gearing you up for Eagle Bay’s epic Lagerhaus evening. We have delicious eats, house beats and allll the lagers lined up, including a special collaboration launch with the legends at Fox Friday. DJ Jxnior is down from Perth spinning tunes and our kitchen are designing a special share menu for the night. Tix will set you back just $20 (and we’re throwing in a drink on arrival)! Check out all the info on the Cabin Fever website here.

Sunday July 21st:

Check out Dunsborough’s newest and most aesthetically pleasing cafe edition – Sora Cafe for breaky. For those living in the big smoke, before you head home, head to our local good friends Yarri for Loom and Lunch. 4 hours of workshopping, paired with 4 hours of wine (to balance out the beers from last night, right?). All materials are provided, you just have to rock up, relax and weave your heart out!
