Eagle Bay Brewing Co. Wins Best Packaged Lager at the Perth Royal Beer Awards

There are few moments more rewarding for a brewing team than seeing months of hard work recognised by industry peers.

At the 2025 Perth Royal Beer Awards, Eagle Bay Brewing Co. was incredibly proud to be awarded the trophy for Best Lager in Package for our West Coast Pilsner.

With 482 beers entered from breweries across Western Australia, the competition showcased the exceptional quality and innovation of our state's brewing industry. Across the awards, just 10 trophies were presented, making the recognition even more meaningful.

This award belongs to our incredible brewing team, whose passion, attention to detail and commitment to quality continue to shine through in every beer they produce.

Celebrating Western Australian Brewing

The Perth Royal Beer Awards continue to highlight the strength of Western Australia's craft beer industry, with breweries from across the state recognised for their technical excellence and creativity.

We'd like to congratulate all of this year's medal and trophy winners, with a special shout-out to our fellow South West breweries, who collectively took home seven of the ten major trophies.

A huge congratulations also goes to our friends at Rocky Ridge Brewing Co., who were named Champion Large Brewery.

It's an exciting time to be brewing beer in Western Australia.

A Winning Pilsner

Our West Coast Pilsner is a modern interpretation of a classic style.

Crisp, refreshing and beautifully balanced, it combines clean malt character with bright hop expression to create an easy-drinking lager that's full of flavour.

Winning Best Packaged Lager is a fantastic recognition of the care and craftsmanship that goes into every batch.

A Word from the Judges

Speaking alongside the announcement of the awards, Robyn Sermon, CEO of the Royal Agricultural Society of WA, highlighted the continued growth of the state's brewing industry.

"Western Australia continues to build a strong reputation as one of the most exciting brewing regions in the country."

She also praised the technical capability of WA brewers and their willingness to innovate across both traditional and emerging beer styles.
