LOCAL LOVE STORIES

Meet Jacinta & Kieran

Meet Jacinta and Kieran, two locals who tied the knot right here in the South West, a place they’re lucky enough to call home.

For Jacinta and Kieran, choosing the South West as their wedding location was a no-brainer. Being locals, they already knew just how special this part of the world is. “We love where we live and all that it has to offer,” they told us. “Our guests were also over the moon to spend a few days in the Busselton/Dunsborough area with us.” From the beaches to the vineyards, it was the perfect setting to celebrate surrounded by their favourite people.

– Why did you land on Eagle Bay as your venue?
Eagle Bay holds a very special place in Jacinta and Kieran’s hearts, it’s where they had their very first proper date. “The beautiful outlook, the relaxed vibe and all that Eagle Bay offers made our decision a very easy one to make,” they shared. The open fields, ocean views and laidback feel fit their wedding style perfectly, relaxed, meaningful and full of joy.

– How did you choose your vendors?
As a hairstylist in the industry, Jacinta had her dream team ready to go the moment they were engaged. “We are so spoilt for choice with amazing vendors in the South West,” she said. “We had an absolute A-Team who brought the whole day together perfectly and brought our vision and dream to life.” From styling to photography, everything came together seamlessly thanks to the region’s incredible local talent like Lauren Green Events and Alex Cohen Photography.

– A favourite memorable moment on your special day?
Their private vows in the paddock at sunset take the top spot. “It was a special moment where time truly stood still,” they said. “It’s one that will stay with us forever more.” With the golden light setting over Eagle Bay’s rolling hills, it was the perfect pause in a day full of celebration.

– Top South West to-dos on your wedding weekend?
For Jacinta and Kieran, the South West has it all. “There are so many amazing things to see and do, from wineries and breweries to incredible beaches,” they shared. “We truly believe the South West has something to offer everyone.” Their guests made the most of the weekend exploring the region and soaking in the coastal charm.

– One key bit of advice to future couples in the lead-up to their wedding day?
Jacinta’s advice is simple: “Be organised and accept help.” The more you can hand off in those final days, the more relaxed and present you’ll feel. “It makes the day so much more enjoyable when you can sit back and watch all the dreaming and planning come to life.”

– Song that got everyone up on the dance floor?
“Man! I Feel Like a Woman” by Shania Twain, a guaranteed dance floor hit and one that had everyone up singing their hearts out.

– Your go-to beer and wine from Eagle Bay?
“Bubbles Blanc is always an absolute crowd favourite,” they said. Cheers to that.
