IT TAKES A VILLAGE - Meet Sarah

The Eagle Bay experience is shaped by the people behind it. In our It Takes a Village series, we introduce the passionate team members who help make Eagle Bay Brewing Co. such a special place to visit.

Meet Sarah | Restaurant & Functions Manager

If you've celebrated a wedding, enjoyed a long lunch or attended an event at Eagle Bay Brewing Co., there's a good chance Sarah has helped make it happen.

As our Restaurant & Functions Manager, Sarah plays a key role in creating the warm, welcoming experience that guests have come to expect.

Remarkably, Sarah's very first shift at Eagle Bay was on 27 December, traditionally our busiest trading day of the year, when we can welcome up to 1,000 guests across a four-hour lunch service.

It's safe to say she handled it with ease.

From England to the South West

Although born in Perth, Sarah spent much of her childhood in England after moving there with her family at the age of five.

Returning to Western Australia a few years later, and then heading back to England again at 21, gave her a real appreciation for everything WA has to offer.

From the relaxed lifestyle to the incredible coastline and year-round sunshine, she quickly realised there was nowhere quite like home.

Falling in Love with the South West

The South West had always been part of Sarah's story.

Family holidays exploring the region eventually inspired her to make the move permanently when she was ready for her next adventure.

It turned out to be one of the best decisions she ever made.

Not only did she fall in love with the South West, she also met her partner, Hayden, while working in hospitality.

Together, they spend their time discovering great food and wine, exploring the region and making the most of everything the South West has to offer.

A Passion for Hospitality

After more than 11 years in hospitality, Sarah still loves what drew her to the industry in the first place.

The people.

She thrives on working alongside passionate teams, building genuine relationships and creating memorable experiences for every guest who visits Eagle Bay.

Whether it's a busy summer lunch service, a wedding celebration or a relaxed afternoon overlooking the bay, Sarah is happiest when people leave with memories they'll want to come back for.
