For us, Oaked Vienna Lager marks the arrival of cooler days, slower afternoons and the beginning of another South West winter.

Now celebrating its fifth year in cans, one of our favourite annual collaborations has returned, and we're excited to share it with you once again.

A Collaboration Worth Waiting For

Our collaboration with our good friends at Copper & Oak Liquor Merchants began in 2021 with a simple idea.

What if we combined the timeless character of a traditional European Vienna Lager with a modern brewing approach and a touch of French oak?

The result was Oaked Vienna Lager.

Since then, it has become our most requested collaboration beer, returning each autumn as the weather cools and hoodie season arrives across the South West.

A Lager with Character

At Eagle Bay Brewing Co., we've always had a soft spot for lager.

Oaked Vienna Lager celebrates everything we love about the style.

Cold conditioned over six weeks and matured on French oak, it delivers brilliant clarity alongside rich layers of smooth caramel and light toffee malt.

Subtle oak tannins add depth without overpowering the beer, before finishing crisp, clean and wonderfully drinkable.

It's a beer that feels equally at home in the afternoon sunshine or beside the fireplace as the evenings grow cooler.

Modern Beer. Retro Inspiration.

Continuing the theme of old meeting new, this year's label artwork once again embraces our Modern Retro concept.

Designed by Derek from Big Chief, the artwork draws inspiration from colourful 1990s VHS tapes, creating a nostalgic nod to the past while celebrating a thoroughly modern collaboration.

Long-time Eagle Bay fans might also remember that Oaked Vienna Lager was originally released in bottles before making the move into cans.
