Sous Chef – Full time

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. As second-in-charge of the Eagle Bay kitchen, this role involves supporting the Head Chef and providing leadership to the kitchen team.  In the absence of the Head Chef, the Sous Chef is responsible for the management of the Eagle Bay kitchen.

Main duties include:

  • Ensure the kitchen work environment is safe and that the kitchen team perform duties safely.
  • Ensure appropriate processes and practices are implemented in the kitchen.
  • Ensure an appropriate standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Contribute towards menu development with the collaboration of the team.
  • Manage staff costs and food costs effectively to meet the targets of the business.
  • Develop and manage a highly motivated, efficient kitchen team through effective leadership and communication.

 

Who we’re looking for;

  • Australian Trade Qualification, alternatively Cert III and Cert IV in commercial cookery and relevant work experience
  • Experience as second in command in a similar, fast paced, environment
  • Team orientated with a can do attitude, ready and willing to work with our Head Chef in the continuous improvement of operations
  • You must have completed your AHA Hospitality & Tourism Covid -19 Hygiene Course

Front of House Supervisor – Casual

We are looking for a Front of House Supervisor who is passionate about delivering a great hospitality experience, has a positive mindset and get excited about sharing their love of handcrafted beer, wine and food.

You will be working with our team in a dynamic and fast paced environment and you will have the opportunities to learn more about our brewing process and other aspects of our hospitality offerings.

We change our menu seasonally,launch new single batch brews fortnightly and launch new wine vintages on a yearly basis.

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional with Supervisor experience, or someone that is eager to take that next step up from a floor waiter role. Come and work with some amazing people and in a supportive and positive environment.

We are open from 11am to 5 pm daily, so hours will be mostly day time with a combination of weekdays and weekends.

Must have RSA, COVID 19 Hygiene Training Certificate, 18

 

Front of House team members – Casual 

We are looking for Front of House Team members. We are on the hunt for human’s who are passionate about delivering a great hospitality experience, have a positive mindset and get excited about sharing their love of handcrafted beer, wine and food.

You will be working with our team in a dynamic and fast paced environment and you will have the opportunities to learn more about our brewing process and other aspects of our hospitality offerings.

We change our menu seasonally, launch new single batch brews fortnightly and launch new wine vintages on a yearly basis.

Experience is not essential as we can provide training in all aspects of the role. Come and work with some amazing people and in a supportive and positive environment.

We are open from 11am to 5 pm daily, so hours will be mostly day time with a combination of weekdays and weekends.

Kitchen Hand – Casual

 

We are on the hunt for a Kitchen hands to join our passionate kitchen team.

 

We are open from 11am to 5pm daily, so hours will be mostly day-time and a combination of weekdays and weekends. You will be providing support to the our Kitchen team daily with food preparation, looking after hygienic cleaning of our restaurant and food utensils, and assist with our kitchen cleanliness. You will be part of a team in a busy and dynamic environment and we are looking for humans who have positive attitude and actively support our kitchen team daily.
