Cacao Stout drinking season is backBACK TO FUN STUFF
We welcome back our annual seasonal get-together with local chocolate makers Bahen & Co
What we love about this brew, in addition to the usual ingredients of malted barley, rainwater, hops and yeast; Cacao husks from local chocolate maker’s Bahen & Co are added to the mash for our Cacao Stout. The Cacao husks come from their Cacao beans and are a waste product from Bahen & Co’s chocolate making process. The Cacao beans come from single origin farms across the planet and jam packed with rich aroma’s, flavour’s and depth. We happily take the Cacao husks off Bahen & co’s hand’s to create this brew and twenty kilo’s of husk goes into 1,000 litres of Cacao Stout made.
Enjoy our Brewer’s Series Cacao Stout for these cooler temperatures; roasty, dark and delicious and can be found at all of these locally loved bottle-o’s.
